How can others know about Jesus and the free gift of salvation and eternal life if they have never been told about it? How can they know Jesus can deliver them out of anything without hearing the testimonies of how He delivered you? Romans 10:14 says, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?"
Just like Jesus made Peter and the other disciples’ fishers of men, He wants us to make us fishers of men too. In Mark 16:15 Jesus tell us to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. As Christians, we should be witnessing to others about Christ. There are people in your neighborhood, school, job, community and city that need you tell them about Jesus. They need you to be a light that shines in their dark world.
When we are truly living for God, those who are unsaved and lost should see our light and gravitate towards it. They should see our joy, happiness and peace, and want to receive it as well. Imagine how many’ lives could be changed if you shared your testimony of how Jesus healed, delivered, restored, and freed you. Today I encourage to share your testimony with someone you know who is unsaved. Share how unconditional God’s love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness is and how He gave He only begotten Son to die for them-so they may be saved and have eternal life.
It is God’s desire that all be saved. In Ezekiel 18:32 God says, “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone. Repent and live." God takes no pleasure in anyone going to hell and neither should we. Plant the seed of salvation in someone’s heart and pray it grows. Asks the Holy Spirit to give you the right words to say when witnessing to that person. Somebody needs you tell that Jesus today. Be a light. Share your testimony. Plant a seed. Be a fisher of men!
